The Wellfleet Grocery

Objective: Create logo and identity for a small town grocery store under new ownership.

One of the great things about working with Gary was how thoroughly he tuned in to the kind of business we were creating. On the one hand, we wanted a fresh new image for the store we were buying. On the other hand, we were concerned that our design fit in with its old-fashioned Main Street location. So, Gary studied both our business plan and the site, then pulled together an array of beautiful and relevant materials – some contemporary, some historical – to help us brainstorm.
Gary is a great listener. When he went to work creating drafts for us, what he did was original and yet it picked up just the retro feeling we wanted.
